Srinath has done a great job for India in the past ten years.But the decision he took just before Aussie tour will really cost India a great deal.Presence of a senior most bowler is really nessecary for India especially for the tour of Australia and also since India did'nt win a series abroad for nearly 15 years.
we all wish you best luck for your retired life . but answer us, to whom should at captain look at the time of crisis as you were the only hope of our bowling line up?. Just because of your performance & presence , we had managed to reach at the final of world cup ,2003 . hope our bowlers will get your vital advice at crucial time .
We do not recognize your retirement. We need you to bowl out the kangaroos. Without you, India cannot conquer any big team. Please consider and come back. The whole nation will wait for you generous decision which will make the entire nation proud again.
It was sad to know that Srinath has reitired. But as all good things come to an end, so it was. Srinath during his tenure lifted the pace attack. He carried on from the great Kapil Dev as the strike bowler and did his job much above expectations.
I Congratulate him for the hard work done to the game of Indian Cricket and wish him good luck for his future. I would also request him to ensure that he stays with our Cricket Board and support them to develop such quality fast bowlers.
