who is a better Captain

This is with regard to the comments made by sir chappel that Mark Taylor makes as a good captain. I do not support his comments as Steve Waugh is far far superior, more aggressive, dashing & always use to lead th team from the front. The sort of discipline what he bought, the professionalism & the burning desire with a strong will to always leave on a winning note is what Steve stands for.

I think underrating steve is nothing but not understanding the game. If you recollect the contributions of Steve to the Australian team in crucial moments one will realise both in the batting & bowling side. He is definetly a smart player though does not do pace bowling but always takes wickets. I pray chappel sir be realistic & i also feel sorry for the way steve is rated by all senior players of Australia. He is the favourite of aussies & also of the current players in the side who rate his am their idol. Probably they are jealous of his unstinted leadership & straight forwardness in approach.

I don't think Ian Chappell is looking for your support for his statements. He knows what he is talking about, unlike you. If you think Steve Waugh brought professionalism and aggression to the Australian side, it shows how much you know about cricket. Stick to kabaddi.

Ian Chappel is always a big mouthed guy but what he speaks is true but most of the people criticize him because we all hate to listen to the truth as it is bitter more often than not!!

Chappell is truly remarkable in his forthright views and unbiased comments. Good interview with apt questions and equally blunt answeres.
