Thanks Fleming but we understand your position after loosing two matches. Its a good way to bring your frustration out. Hard Luck. Next time make sure you go through schedule first.
Dear Mr.Fleming.. I think its enough to remind you the proverb "Grapes are sour". You got to accept it that newzland is the 3 grade team in comparision to austrlia and india. REmember you have saved the test because you didnt fight !! but in one day matches you are not going to get such chances. You can only win some rare matches and otherwise in your home ground. All the best
When India toured previously to NZ, fleming made a comment after winning both test and ODI series that " If u r a great Batsman, u should able to perform on any condition ".Now that same Fleming making a comment on Indian pitches and telling pitch is not well prepared and matches not schduled correctly !!!!
How Foolish is the kiwis captain to criticise the schedule if so knowing the conditions he must criticise himself for opting to bat first at Faridabad. And his team for letting 3 catches down at pune. I hope Pune is fantastic pitch of all in this tri series which provided support for both bowlers and batsmen. Moreover did he forget the conditions that he put for india in NZ .He would rather thank the pitches for supporting seamers for the teams who would love it NZ and Ausis.
Fleming is a highly underrated captain. He has not done anything special or a great to be rated highly. Instead he prefers to talk a lot. It's time journos realise their mistake of rating him highly. When India went to NZ, we were made to play at horrible pitches. Why all that? If Fleming had won his match against Aussies, he would have said Tuffy is the greatest bowler, in fact, slightly better than Akram!
i guess fleming has forgotten the pitches that india were made to play against them in their own backyard. the pitches there were made so as to favour the home team and the wickets were so bad that india hardly crossed the 200 run mark in seven one day matches. batting first in new zealand is also a big problem as compared to india ... the kiwis here are being just mauled by the aussie pace attack it seems ,, they need a lot of more batting practice ... and preparations which they had done have come handy only in the tests and not the one dayers so far ... they just dont deserve anything because on neutral wickets as in the world cup in south africa india beat them fair and square showing that india is the superior one day team .
Its ridiculous that Fleming is complaining abt the itinerary after getting beaten in 3 matches. Where were his brains before the start of the tournament. Thought the whining phase was over after teams stopped using the "Indian curry" blame game.
Stephen, blame the losses on your poor batting (1st game vs aus) and poor catching (2nd game vs aus). Pitch/timing may have had a bit to play, but you cant blame the entire loss on that.
C'mon Nair, what u think its all accidentaly that all India matches r day night affair, don't give this fullish statement, If Fleming is not right then u r also not. Being an Indian i want my team to win the cup but its really sad and bad the way in which series has been scheduled.
