the current WI team has proved that the aussies aren't unbeatable after all.Grays comments on the clash between mcgrath and sarwan brings out nothing new. the majority of the aussie cricketers are rogues. Another personwho can be termed a racist rogue would be the now forgotten Barry Jarman. Infact it is people like him who have given a free hand to the Mcgraths, the lehmans and also to the Donalds and Kallis'though they are from SA and not from Australia. Infact Hanumant Singh was the only one brave enough to pull up mcgrath.People like vishwanath and the Sri lankan match referees are too soft on white players to the point where they can be termed spineless
how incomplete....sheesh...well yeah ok fine...itz bad on de australianz part..but what are you trying to say: the australianz will be "tired" of it? what? the public? man u need help...seriously!
>>Australia will host the struggling Zimbabwe and >>Bangladesh for Test series later this year where >>one-sided results are expected to do little to >>further the game globally.
Who is to blame? Austrialia ? Huh..Never. Think again Gray.
Aussies under Steve and Ponting have proved that they are the best. It is upto the other teams like India and South Africa to prove their mettle. Aussie team is always the king of sledging but they have not been penalised because the rulers of the game are biased towards others. Why blame the awesomwe Aussies team, blame the rulers who can't do anything about sledging. The ancient Aussies invented sledging and Steve perfected the technique. OPEN YOUR EYES TO THEIR SLEDGING NOT THEIR TALENT!!!!!!!!!!
As an Australian I found Mr Gray's comments somewhat of an inigma. I was also very surprised to read that he believes the Australian public are "angered" by the continued wins of our Aussie Cricket Team. I cannot imagine where he gets his information from. I would have thought, that like myself, that the majority of Australians were particularly proud of the achievments of our boys this season. Was Mr Gray suggesting perhaps that our Team should perform less than their best just to please the "fickled fans". I don't think so Mr Gray........that just "wouldn't be cricket!!" I believe that Mr Gray's impending retirement from the ICC may just be very timely if he is going to make such irresponsible remarks that I believe have no real foundation what's so ever.
Finally, somebody from the "top brass" of International Cricket has realised the situation where Australian cricket currently is. Winning is a good habit, no doubt, but if that habit should not create an attitude problem in the players, considering that the team has fundamentally good & senior players like capt.S.Waugh, McGrath, etc. Hope this message reaches them in "good spirits" of the game.
Fools always lives in Fool's paradise. The recent ugly incidents have made the cricket world to beleive that Australians may be world champions, but very fools
This story marks the 'u-turn' of Mr Gray about the aussies . the u-turn it wont be. clearly this is the rant of a man who knows that he has been judged as a clown. and he wants to 'mend' his image, before retiring His handling of the Mike Denness Controversy clearly showed his racist intentions. The Rediff cricket team has done some great stories on the 'moronic' nature of the Indian Cricket establishment. Such a work should be done on a bigger scale. Like the hilarious interviews of Jayawant Lele.Rediff Should send Faisal and ask some very uncomfortbale questions to the likes of Gray, Speed. and print them word by word. The western nations are very powerful in the Economic world, and for every negotitaion in the WTO they bully everyone by blackmailing on strength their economic clout. but when it comes to cricket, the money that comes from india is not the deciding factor on how things work, but the race works. with the likes of Jagmohan Dalmiya and Lele manning the indian cricket establishment, one cannot expect any more than self preservation. its time the cricketers of yesteryears coming out and do something
