tampering of ball is a common thing that a pakis will do,legal actions should be taken for those who tamper.

unruly fellow

From the start of his carrier he is very unruly, he never behaves properly in both on the field and off the field. Like SAfrica, PAKISTAN should be banned for atleast 10 years for these kind of mal-practises and Akthar should be banned for ever. I dont know what ICC is doing?? They should try to maintain discipline in cricket what so ever the color, country is. I believe they spend time only with CRICKET boards to fight with their contracts.

This is absurd!

The rules allowed for a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 match suspension, if I recall correctly. This guy is a habitual offender, and the match referee should have shown some spine by suspending him for the maximum possible duration. Two weeks is a stupid stupid penalty for an act that, quite clearly, cost Sri Lanka a place in the finals by unfair means.

Once again

Time and again Akhtar has been taken to task for similar behaviour. I think its high time Akhtar starts concentrating on good bolwing rather than other means for achieving results. His bowling action is already under question and acts like this make me question his credibility as a bowler even more. Bowlers like these deserve a more sever punishment. Also Pakistani team as a whole needs to lift its ethical standards on the playing field.
