Its not the first time that the racism is showing its ugly face in the so-called gentleman's game. Worst part is when we are trying our best to maintain the sanctity of the game they are spoiling it.
I condemn australia's action and the best action could be mcgrath being banned for a series and which should follow the same suit to everybody who does the same.
It was ugly but not punished, while Appealing by Sehwag was not ugly but punished severly. It is a simple case of racial behaviour. WI cricketers being not "white" they are sledgged by Aussies.
I feel that these incidents are part and parcel of game. it is just that we indians have a habit to over react. There was some ugly incidents in this test match also but if it is between players then it is ok. Normally when we indians play we fight with umpires and that is bad........
I remember Mc Grath saying that Sachin talked to him oon the field for the first time during the ICC Knockout trophy in Nairobi. But it was not becoz Sachin was bad, Mc Grath was bad that time. He was being hit and then he tried to instigate Sachin!! That's why Sachin lost his temper. He never loses his temper. Once a bowler from Pakistan abused Sachin so much that Sachin went to him and said "Why do u abuse me so much? What have I done to you?". the bowler stopped immediately and never sledged in his remaining career...Mc Grath is bad, he is always bad when the going gets tough..
It does matter if you r black or white. You will be called a MAN if you are an aussie or kiwi or afrikaan or english gentleman else u r a sissie.
Mike Gatting is a gentleman. So is the great IAN Botham.(caught somking banned substance ........ correct me if i am wrong) SO are kiwis Stephen Fleming and Co. SHAUN pollock just appeals SLATER has few nice things to fellow cricketer Mark Waugh and Shane warne on tell about pitch and weather report, team composition etc to bookies.
Mr. Steve Waugh ENGLISH being his mother tongue doesn't mind using it on field to have a friendly chat with opponents. Mind u its just game of cricket and they r testing MENTAL STRENGTH of Opponents.

(I have heard about an english cricketer in past using VASELINE to get swing ... pssst) Murali, Harbhajan, Rajesh Chauhan are chuckers BRETT LEE isn't. BARRY Richards is the authority to comment about SACHIN's capabilities. The list is endless I am tired of typing and also I have reached MAX CHARACTER LIMIT PUT up by REDIFF
Mike Procter, Your handling of the whole incident is simply appalling !!!! Even the ACB and Steve Waugh admit that it was ugly ! And, you see nothing wrong with it....! You should be dismissed from the match referees panel.....is the ICC listening ?????
