The last match was a keenly contested affair. That's how the ranji finals should be played. It's a good contest that's how the final should be played. It was very refreshing, thats hoe finals should be played.WELL DONE MUMBAI AND TAMILNADU.aAND ALL CREDIT TO BCCI FOR WONDERFUL ELITE CONTEST.
Though this match is an important final of local tournament, the way inwhich the media gave publicity and the match was broadcast both on TV and Radio, left a lot that an interested and knowledgeable person would have desired. One has to search and constantly enquire to know the score. The quality of TV broadcast was very bad. Unless the media and the sports administration take sufficient interest on such local matches Indian Cricket may not improve.
All the articles I have seen about the ranji matches have been biased against tamilnadu. Be it against Delhi or Mumbai. Hey start writing informative writups and stop showing your support for any team.
an absorbing days play;it would be nice to have 3 chmpions in Ranji Trophy in 3 years-Baroda,Railways & Tamil Nadu in 2001,02,03 respectively-a far cry from the earlier days when B'bay used to win 15 yrs in a row from 1958 to 1973.Best luck to T N & also hope some players from the state are sselected on merit in senior Indian one day & Test Squad Ajit Krishnan-F 140-V Street -Anna Nagar- Chennai-600102
I really liked to see the coverage you are giving to India's premier domestic tournament. During the initial stages the coverage was pretty sporadic and impulsive. I do hope it improves next season. You can really do your part for the noble cause of popularizing domestic cricket!
