Why there should be so much media attention on the marriage of a criceter. He is afterall a cricketer and not a soldier who is laying his life for the country. The media should instead focus on important events rather than concentrate on the wedding of a cricketer. Sometimes, I feel media plays a crucial part on showcasing the foolishness of Indians to the entire world.

Well Mr. Raj... it would be "ridiculous" if the media were to write about YOUR marriage ceremony... but Dravid excels at what he does.. play cricket.. which is his job.. and remember he represents India.. so the media is fully justified in giving him the coverage.. Congrats and All the best Rahul.
I dont see whats the big deal about Dravid getting married. He is also like every normal man who is getting married as he uis already 30. I dont see any reason why there should be a big deal about his wedding and who really cares in this world whether the orchids came from bangkok or amsterdam. I think there are lot of other pressing things in India and lot of people who dont eat properly than nobody cares what sweets are being served in a wedding.
