west indies cannot think of winning a match with such a horrible bowling.thier strength is their batting.but in cricket, both bowling&batting,go hand in hand.fielding was also not up to the mark.probably they could in the one day series,as they are a very good one day side
Funny to call Aussies to India. Why don't you say lets go down under and try winning at least one test. We have seen what Aussies are capable of in the world cup final. Lets accept mate....... They are the champs.
I like the cricket section in Rediff. But here is what I don't like. Most of the time there is no score card accompanying the article. How am I supposed to know the score in a glance? If I don't have time to read the entire article, the score card will give all the details I want. Everytime I come here and then realising that you don't have a score card, I had to goto some other site like cricinfo.com. What is the big deal in putting a simple scorecard. Is it very difficult or do you believe that we (the readers) don't deserve it.
No way was Lara's decision a bad one. He is probably the shrewdest cricketer in the world and he knows the game in and out. He took the right decision because if WI had batted first and Lara had gotten out cheaply (which is not probable but possible all the same), then WI would have crumbled and they would always have been behind in the match. The other thing is that Lara backs his batsmen to chase runs down rather than his bowlers to defend even 500+ totals. So, it was a very good decision from Lara.
