Tendulkar or Bradman?
by Lalit Kumar on May 04, 2003 03:08 PM

Tendulkar or Bradman, how many of us have seen sir bradman play whereas all of have, at least once in a lfe, seen the master blaster sachin play. so it is not right saying bradman is greater by just looking at the stats, and by looking at them, it seems, Tendulkar is better, because he has played more games than bradmand, and of course the number of games do matter in averages and strike rates. hence it is not right saying that Tendulkar cannot be called the master of the game.

Sainath Govindan
No more 'Boy' wonder
by Sainath Govindan on May 03, 2003 11:27 AM

The man with more centuries than his age and some of his matured knocks in the World Cup 2003 should silence 'the few' who still call him 'Boy' wonder. He is no more a 'Boy' wonder. He is Master of Masters.

Averages speak!!

Tendulkar has a long way to go !
Tendulkar might be the best One day batsman today but he is no where close to the greatest in test cricket.
He has never won a single test match for india during do-or-die situations. For the tendulkar fans, please tell me, out of his huge number of test centuries, how many of them came batting in the second innings (maybe 3 or 4). Batting first and scoring a century is one thing. Batting second when its 15 for 3 (or 25 for 4), getting a huge century and saving a test match is another ball game. Only Brian Lara is capable of that.
The author is right.

You can only beat the Players of your era.
by Wilson Fernanod on May 02, 2003 05:24 PM

As far as who is the best ever Batsman, either BRADMAN or TENDULKAR will never be answered. Both played under different era.
And most importantly, one can only beat the players in his era. Similarly Bradman did Beat the players in his era.
Tendulkar is definetly the BEST in his Era.
It will be unfair to Conclude Tendulkar is the BEST EVER or Bradman is the BEST EVER. Both have been the best in their respective Era's. And I am proud to have the privilege to watch Tendulkar Bat in his Era.

Different stars in sky
by Gurjeet on May 02, 2003 05:00 PM

Every star has its different shine in sky and no star resembles each other so y should we compare Sachin with Bradman. Bradman was the star of past Sachin is the star of present and i think of future also. So i think there is no need to compare both. God bless both.

Sachin Tendulkar
by Gaurav Kumar on May 02, 2003 03:04 PM

Sachin no doubt is the best ever bestman. If people believe that Bradman was the best it is their problem. No one can ever take up Sachin's place. Bradman could have never done what Sachin has been doing for the past 13 years.
