Abolutely !! I am surpised and aghast that the question has even come up and we are discussing replacing the coach and the other support staff.
Needless to say, they have been instrumentatl in trasnforming the Indian Team from a bunch of under perfomers to a fighting, determined and winning unit. And look at the physical fitness... While other teams had at least one injury during the world cup, how many did India have... One single team playing thru the world cup !! How many times have we had that ?
Please note that next to the captain, the coach and the trainers are the people instrumental for performance... And so... How many times the Indian captain has been replaced when he DID NOT perform ? Not once - right ? Then why talk about replacing a coach who IS PERFORMING ???? Are we getting our priorities all lop sided ???
Hope the Indian Board has commonm sense to drop this topic as soon as it is possible... and concentrate on matters that need more attention.
wright should be retain or not? one of the silliest question to be asked. He is been the one who had brought professional approach to the indian team along with leipus and adrain which we were lacking since our establishment as test playing nation. Wright is right person for the job and along with leipus and adrain they forms the wright combination. keep this combination as long as possible this will benefit our Indian team.
Indian Board should try to behave as a professional board and extend the contracts of Wright, Leipus and Le Roux as they have done a wonderful job in transforming this indian team to one of the fittest.
we think that hv performed a great job with the team & for the team to continue it's winning ways they hv to be retained,as we hv already seen what other before them hv achieved,we should look forward & retaining these people would be a step in that direction
