It is extremely happy to see westindies winning matches after long time.It seem's Lara's confidence on new looking team was very high. Recent success in west indies against Srilankanas and Aussess indicates that W.I now in right track.Lara's expectation in forthcoming tour of south africa seems obviously correct. West Indies new team got good bat's man like chanderpaul,Lara,gayle,Hind's etc. west got some good talented and experienced bowlers so i feel West Indies can make good come back in world of cricket in near future.
I fully endorse Lara for the confidence he rest with the new team. But in my opinion, West Indies should have 2 All rounders in their team like Flintoff of England, Symonds of Australia (or) Kallis of South Africa. Anyway the current team has all potentials to beat any time, provided the bowling department improves. Above all, West Indies fielding is below par. Especially their catching and throw from boundry line. They should put lot of efforts in imporving fielding.
this current west indies team is vary good but still they requires a quality class player like carl hooper back in their side & they must give the chance to play test cricket to Recardo powell. They made the mistake not choosing corey collymore for test matches for 4 years & when given the chance to him he made most of it. so they must consider R.powell for the test matches.that will do only good to the west indies
