One more controversy now. Why can't the selectors know the players and their abilities before selecting the team ? Politics, thy name is still Indian Cricket !
I guess Selectors have given Badani enough chances.. I think its time to add some young blood in the team with the long term vision.. Probably, 'Rayudu' is the man to be considered.. I think adding him to this new look Indian team would certainly make 'Indian team a formidable one..'
Sorry state of selection ''committee''.Couple of persons decide & what for a committee.Even committee's in India are state/zone based.Agree on Badani's selection as 1 day capt as he has been playing one dayers & Das always been playing tests.In fact Das has been given too many chances & sadly southpaw Sadagopan Ramesh being avoided totally & it always happens to southpaw players.
hey! the decision sounds perfectly logical to me...for heaven's sake dont write reports that quotes of 'ghost' selectors....i find it difficult to believe that it is not a figment of your imagination....even if it is true, from a neutral stand point, this selector's comments doesnt make sense...das as a one day player is non sense...he himself will tell u that! -karthik
