I agree with Lilee that Test Status should be strip from Bangladesh as it would not make any sense for Aussie vs Bangladesh test series. Even Kenya who had good performances of late has to wait for test status then bangladesh is no way belong to test status.They got the status courtesy Ex-ICC Chief Dalmiya a bengali for a soft corner to bengali speaking nation.
I whole-heartedly agree with the Great fast bowler, Lillee. Giving test status to teams like Bangladesh and letting them play in World Cups most definitely makes a mockery of the cricket records. Suppose tomorrow Sachin makes 400+ runs against the mighty Australian team and after sometime, some other batsman makes 500 against Bangladesh, he would erase Sachin's record BUT the million dollar question is can we compare the two innings? The answer is a BIG "NO".
I am not against Bangladesh,but, its true that when a team couldn't prove its worth for such a long time they should be sacked. A player shouldn't gifted a record so easily because he has chance to play too often with sub standard teams...
Bangladesh should be allowed to play tests and it shouldn't be stripped from the test status....As cricket will grow around the world we will have such more instances..Instead of stripping the test status lets give full support to such teams and to bild the cricket infrastructure....Cricket is no more a game of only 9 or 10 nations..It should be gloabl...
