The best doctors in the world come from the subcontinent and particulary India.... why should an Indian Cricket icon travel to US when people all around the world to seek medical support to india. Anyway if 100 + million population of india get the same benefit... then its fine for me.
It is very unfortunate that an ace bowler of our cricket team has to wait so long to get approval from the board to have a surgery done on his hand. This clearly reflects how our board works. If the injury aggrevates the Board members should be brought to task for their negligence and their slow decision making and severly punished.
If one of the Board Member's family member needed treatment would he have taken so long to decide.
Who will be paying for the services? I don't want to sound harsh. The public money should not be used to pay for services outside India.
If Public dollors are available for access of services in US hospitals then everyone in India should have same access. If they want to use they own money then I have no problem with it.
