This is the height of hypocrisy. For all the stunts that he pulled and got away with during his playing days, if the same rules that he recommends had been in place then, he probably would have played only in half the test matches he ultimately ended up playing! I wish these guys would stick to things they do best i.e., coaching & mentoring and leave the policymaking to more competent authorities.

Lillee fhimself should have been sent out for bad behaviour earlier in his time. Being the tutor of bad bevaviour himself he cannot suggest what should be done to stop it now.

dude wake up man. Everybody makes mistakes. If you think that if somebody make a mistake and so they loose the right to suggest the corrective measures, then how many times you told your kid about something is bad which you did. Above it I believe that if you have to suggest a corrective measure for something, then you should have done that otherwise you dont know how to stop it.

fines resumption

I fully agree to lillee. There should not be a punishment which costs nothing to the player. They should feel guilty from their conscience so that they may never dare to repeat it again. Money is never a deal, rather debarring for the play would be the best option. ICC should seriously look into this...

All's fine

The fine should be monetory as well as one or two match ban without match fee. This should help reduce the on-field altercations and misbehaviours. This should be extended to sledging.
