It was Inevitable

B'desh's defeat was inevitable. But what has surprised me the most from this series is the inability of the much touted Australian pacemen to take wickets on the so called 'hard & bouncy' Australian tracks against a hapless opposition like B'desh. Stuart MacGill has emerged as the most successful bowler, which is somewhat surprising. B'desh may've been defeated but still they have given their fiercest of critics something to think about. People like David Hookes who were tipping Australia to finish the two test matches within single days must have been surprised by the grit & determination of the B'deshi batsmen who were even able to manage the very respectable total of 290 odd in their first innings.Even Our much loved & I must add hyped Indian Cricket team is unable to post such totals when it travels Down Under.
B'desh may have lost but it has shown that there is still no dearth of talent in B'deshi cricket. This team needs to tour places like Australia, South Africa to improve as a cricket team. Such tours might not be enthralling to watch but they sure will do a lot of good to the B'deshi cricket.
