Ganguly Tough nut
by Brijesh Kumar on Jul 09, 2003 04:44 PM

I agree with the comment that Ganguly is tough nut to crack. Captaincy puts a lot of pressure on a player. I like the way Ganguly responds irrespective of the aura of players. I like his agression and positive attitudes.

Its guys like you who do not make sense
by Shekhar on Jul 09, 2003 12:59 PM

Cmon dude, India lost to a superior team in the world cup final. You blame the captain because he didnt use Agarkar in the finals ? The same bowlers and batsmen who got us to the final ( u named them yourself ) were playing in the final. If the credit of reaching the final is given to them, so should the blame for losing in the final. The same bowlers bowled badly and the same batsmen got out to poor shots.. give it a break, Saurav's brother was not talking of the World cup final, but the way Ganguly had matured and come to be a successful Captain.. If he were not a hard nut to crack, he would have gone into oblivion like so many other crickters after being dropped after the 1992 tour of Australia..
Guys like you will always find something or the other to complain... Learn to appreciate what needs to be appreciated.
