So!

I am not really sure on why this article is featured in rediff.com.. This is an English captain praising his team member for a good performance. So!. Is it because the member's name seems to points to indian origins, that he gets a headline.

Lets get over this absurd mentality as fast as possible. We do not need the superficial pride of achievements of people who (or whose ancestors) have left our shores and represent other countries now. There is no foreseeable benefit of such achievements on our country. It only underlines the slave mentality of ours and the craving for recognition even when we have not done anything to merit it. E.g. Nirad Chaudhary, who actually his fame and money too by his criticism of India/Indians, gets more coverage in our press than his own. Why!!!
