Lara is sitting on the throne that he deserves so much more than any other cricket playing individual. Right from the time that he entered the world scene evryone knew that he was the heir apparent to Viv Richards in terms of dominating the world cricket. Unfortunately for him, as is the bane of genius, he lost focus and other good players of lesser talent like Tendulkar, Waugh bros, Desilva started eying this throne. But Lara is back. Just as an exiled king comes back much stronger , more mature ,Lara is reverting back, determined to occupy the post till he feels fit for him. My opinion is that Lara is the best batsman in test matches , Tendulkar is the best for one-dayers.
Lara has got first position in test cricket. But we must think about his carear too. Becoz as a whole he is best ove the asian players and while playing with asian players he deserve his position. But if i've honestly say then first of all i would like to prefer sachin as a tremendous hero. He is superb in both one day and test cricket. Only making maximum run is much more for his talent. His tricks and his ability to play must be good. I've watching this talent in sachin and i can't hoodwing his excellency. And lastly i want to say that SACHIN WAS THE BEST, SACHIN IS THE BEST AND SACHIN WILL BE THE BEST FOR ERA AND ERA.
West Indies captain Brian Lara and India's batting genius Sachin Tendulkar should never be judged by their positions at world rankings --- be it Tests or ODIs. Like Sachin, Lara has once again showed that he enjoys facing world's best bowlers. The fact that the Windies southpaw has amassed over 800 runs in his last six Tests (against Aussies and Lankans) itself speaks of his commitment and incredible hunger for runs. A player like Lara is not born every day. Hats off to this gem of a cricketer.
My favorite hero has proofed again no.1 batsman in world test cricket. Good. My another hero "cricket legend" Sachin Tendulkar will overtake him within this year. I am waiting for that..not only me..all cricket lovers also..will see...
