Jagmohan Dalmiya is like a mother although he is male..... he should be made president of bihar and PM os US. Then cicket in India will take off towards the space. NASA has certified this information.
BCCI should encourage the local players and should use the money to improve the local standard also. We should have some more stadiums like Mohali, Eden Gardens and We should also try to make our Ranji League one of the top class (more professional than County cricket). And the best, if BCCI can put some money to improve conditions for other games too (inlcuding hockey, football, Athletics etc). If we make money in one game, we should put it to use it in india's favour.
Well, players getting 26% of the revenue. Of the remaining 74%, how much is spent for cricket developmental activities. BCCI is saying they share the highest number of percentage with the players. Can they explain how much they spend for developmental activities in India compared to other nations???
I guess more amount should be shared with the domestic players atleast in India considering the number of palyers that take part in our country. Even if 15% of the 1 billion goes to the BCCI president and co (More than the percentage, all the domestic player together gets), it is a huge amount. It seems cricket admin can get more money than the actual cricketers who play all through the years.
ACCORDING TO ME PLAYERS SHOULD BE GIVEN FEES ON PERFORMANCE BASIS.THIER AFFORTS SHOULD DETERMINE THEIR FEES NOT THEIR CLASS i.e. PLAYING A INTERNATIONAL MATCH.
This is by far the most significant step in encouraging cricket at domestic level.
Hats off to Mr.Dalmiya and team..
Development of cricket coaching facilities in all regions of the country should also be given focus to remove regional disparities and nurture the hidden talent..
