Tendulkar

Tendulkar is a tough guy. He is not down but is facing some ill luck. He was one of those who faced wrath of ill luck twice in the series. He will bounce back with venom in the last match of the series. Aussies must be ready to face Four strong contests from Indians. Last match will shoe the gritt and determination of Indians. World cup final opponents proved themselves at the back yard of Aussies by scoring consistently. One has to win and that too the better team will. Contest must be looked at. It must be interesting and not boring. Every on knows now that Indian's performance far exceeds expectations of every other person. Class players will come back and perform. They play to perform. Tendulkar is not playing and missing things, but facing ill luck which is bountiful with other big scorers.Sachin and laxman should change places so that he can guide lower order well. Change of place also changes the luck. In form Laxman should venture to take mantle from Sachin to improve the record. Kumble must apply hmself without going for big hits. Staying at the wicket is the way to get runs. Stay, push, pull and prod you will get runs.

Indians and their performance
by M Sesha Sai on Dec 31, 2003 05:02 PM

I feel Indians are great players of cricket. All these years there were only one to three good players in the team who can perform at will and any where. In this present team we have all top six batsmen with good scores in their reportoir. Only Ashok Chopra who is new does not have previous score but is exhibiting solidity in his approach. Even Mr.Brett Lee found him a tough customer. I was watching the first few overs with tense and finally thought the duo Shewag and Ashok are performing well. Mr. Tendulkar is having his lean patch at an inappropriate time. However he played well enough to score 44 runs.Sachin has to leave those balls which are pitched outside the off and short for him to reach the pitch of the ball withouit leaning somuch forward. He is instinctively dragging himself towards the ball and the Aussies are good at spotting the weakness of its oppenents, has been exploiting this. While Dravid is a rock at the place Laxman has the quality of patience and the reportoir of shots in his book can excute well under pressure. Sourav is a master with that bit of luck required for a player. He has the quality of leading from the front. He has to guide himself and the team.

Tendulkar down but not out

I totaly agree with Border statement. Tendulkar is getting out on bad shot because he is under tremendous pressure for scoring the runs. It is advisable for him to bat at number 3. I hope that he will come back well and reply in 4th test which is very important for India and for Sachin as well.
