the selectors have done the right thing in bringing back bangar but they should not have picked kaif.rohan gavaskar should have been given a chance.dinesh mongia should have been given another chance despite his dismal performance in the world cup.
zaheer is out of picture now , so i think if selectors could call sri nath back in it will be very good for our team ,as he showed some desire to play ,and i think bangar is good ,
well india certainly need some good fast bowler i mean to say fast , and after zaheer khan injury thier pace attack seem to be very small against australian team , well i think indian selectors should work on munaf patel so he can do what india need from so many years , i also think they should take amit bhandari cause he is far more batter than bala ji , and irfan has good future ahead
Although i would have loved to see jadeja at the position where dada(ganguly)is,but again coming to my "think positive" mottto,i seriously think that dada is the best person to lead india. we need a captain like him , who along with grit, determination and passion, also has guts to support his players and face the flak when they fail, that is why i believe, that only those captains who are ready to face the flak, deserve bouquets.
i think positive and respect the credentials of our selectors, but i'am sorry to say they themselves finished a sparkling carrer of possibly the best ever ODI all-rounder after kapil paji, and they say we can't find all-rounders. No points for guessing, everybody would approve of my choice."BRING BACK AJAY JADEJA".
We have a group of cricket loving fans from an MNC and we took an opinion poll amongst 84 colleagues and some of them have played cricket at Domestic level.
1. Sourav Ganguly (Opening) 2. Virender Sehwag (Non Strikers End) 3. Rahul Dravid (Wicket Keeper) 4. Sachin Tendulkar 5. Hemang Badani 6. Mohammad Kaif 7. Yuvraj Singh or V V S Laxman 8. Ajit Agarkar 9. L Balaji 10. Irfan Pathan 11. Anil Kumble
Please drop Murali Karthik because EVERYONE feels he is UNFIT.
sir am realy pained to see the column having a obvious mistake, where the month should be december its was given as november that too in 2 places, i like all the articals presented esp about cricket which gives the true and unbiased report. but having valued the columns, mistakes like this cannot be accepeted. pherhaps the author was sleeping while he penned the artical.
In the selection there are some welcomeing decision some very poor as usual. Poor ------ 1.Nehra in (despite no show) 2.Balaji in ( !!!! nothing to say !!!!) 3.Mohanty not even considered (may b he is from Orissa). 4.Badani in ( only one performance) 5.Gautam gambhir or Vinod kambli not considered( what more selectors were expecting !!!)
good ---- 1.faith in kaif , yuvraj ,laxman and patel. 2.Return of bangar
how much marks should i give to indian selectors??? well 55% (in india 60% considered as first class ) Ranjan (Kingdom of bahrain)

Ranjan,
How can you still think of Mohanty and Kambli. Their careers for international side are over long time back. And I don't think you have very good knowledge abt Ranji matches. Badani is one among the top scorers and very consistent (not just one match perfomance). Balaji is mentioned as a grooming youngster by many pace bowlers, his 3 wickets in recent 3-day match in Australia not withstanding. Atleast our selectors are much better than you!!!!
