Session Verdict
by Venkat on Dec 26, 2003 09:44 PM

Do you mind removing this session verdict column in your commentary, it looks absurd, illogical and looks to have no basis in the verdict.

It clearly states the defeatist mentality projected by most Indian journalists vis-a-vis India.

Pls Come Back Prem P.
by Vishal Dahalkar on Dec 26, 2003 09:28 PM

Such a beautiful day of cricket... so many things happening... but with due respect to the writer of this report.. this is a BORE and MOST PREDICTABLE report... like a 5th grader is asked to watch a match.. make some notes from time to time... post it on the internet... no human touch.. no expert comments.. no twists ... no turns.. simply boring... don;t want to use bad words... but all of those apply... I hopw you would agree... Call back Prem for match reports .. if not atleast for match reviews.. 1 in 5 days...

Well Well Well...
by Nakul Goswami on Dec 26, 2003 07:04 PM

Why is Australia Dropping so many catches??? Is it pressure or is it pressure. Guess we do not know the answer, right Mr Chappel???

Tendulkar has to graduate to become a big match player or else we can do without him. How many many matches do we have to wait for his 1 big innings???? Why do we need his one big innings, instead we need batsmen who can score lots of runs and score them now.

Make him bowl in this match and hope he contributes by taking wickets. (This pitch would support his slow-slow medium pace bowling)

India has to be very careful, they must remember that till they win the match the Australians would remain the favourites to win-that is how tough it is for the Indians.

Sehwag Leeding India's innings
by parikshit on Dec 26, 2003 03:58 PM

This knock by Sehwag was trully a great one. Sehwag batted like a master and Tendulkar not making runs didn't hurt me at all as Sehwag and Dravid played classy knocks. The Question is wheather every innings the openers will show form and one of the top six would get a big one? Also it is difficult to say that our bowlers will bowl well and get 20 wickets in a match. Hope they do and India comes home with flying colours.

Sachin's continuing failure
by Sahil on Dec 26, 2003 02:49 PM

As Bishen Bedi very amply remarked, Sachin is no longer mentally fit to play Test cricket. He only seems to relish the shorter version where he knows the occupation of the crease is not as much in demand. About time to give Ramesh a break in the next Test. And also for Messrs Kirmani and Dalmia to have a quiet word with him about his Test performance in the last 12 months which is less inspiring than Murali's!!!
