Congrats to the Indian team for a great victory down under, the one that took 22 years to come.

In all the euphoria that the win has generated, its important to concentrate on whats next on hand. Aptly put by Kirmani:
"This series is very interestingly poised now. But we have to be alert all the time, the Aussies will not give up."

Let this not be the end. We have just won one test, that doesn't make us the world beaters. What would is if we manage to win the series.

Beating India in India was the final frontier for Waugh. Let beating Australia in Australia on Waugh's farewell series be the first frontier for the new Indian team. There are more frontiers to conquer!

Kirri's comment on India's win

Sir,
The chief selector got it all wrong when he mentioned that Laxman has improved and become mentally because of experience and exposure. It is because of just the opposite. His surprising exclusion from the world cup team made him let the "bunch of jokers" know what he is capable, and to make them look just incompetent.
Keep it up Laxman and Rahul this world and the fans just love your tango. 3 cheers for the visual treat.
Many thanks for the double whammy. And one word for the Aussies, "JUST GO FETCH IT......."
