The last statement says the deal
by Rakesh on Dec 15, 2003 02:35 PM

K well if tommorrow India win it'll be out of this world, if they lose it'll still be okay, cos noone except probably me gave them a chance of doing well.

Lets jus all of us wish for the best and hope they win. Btw if you were an Aussie and you lose tommorrow will you say they r a waste team cos they cant even beat India at home.. Think Again and stop being so impulsive.. Its amazing to watch the Kenyan supporters support their team irrespective of what they do.

I still remember the chaos created by the over-impulsive Indian fan when they lost to Australia on a deadly pitch. Wheres that guy gone now??
I hope the impulsive Indian fan has become a sensible India supporter.

Lets jus wish that all the hard work Sachin, Saurav and Rahul have put for the past 10 years(cos this is surely their last Aussie tour) gets rewarded..

Best of Luck...

I wish India all the best on its road to create history in Indian cricket by beating mighty Australians in their den. I wish that weather doesnt become a spoil sport in a simple possible victory. Good show India......keep it up

Certainly not India ?
by Bobby on Dec 15, 2003 01:46 PM

So Faisal , what do you think about your expert opinion after the first day's game ?

" With the position Australia is in, there can be only one winner in this Test, and it is certainly not India. "

No matter who wins , you're comments were no less premature than the Aussie comments about their "chin music" before the series started .

Comments ? :)

Amazing
by Shashikant on Dec 15, 2003 01:24 PM

This is certainly the best of the performance by Indian team in recent years.

One can realy feel short of words for prasing this type of splended performance by our India tigers.

Moreover this performance is not because one or two players,it certainly is a team effort, and I think thats the key for success.

One thing is for sure, if Indians continue to play like this(which i doubt)no team can ever think of winning against us.(Remeber the Westindians in the 70`s).

Keep it up tigers, everybody here in India are backing you and we wish you all the very best for winning not only this match but the series.

under pressure
by prashanth on Dec 15, 2003 12:25 PM

The fourth day's play of the second test between india and australia is a perfect example for how the invincible aussies succumb under pressure. Nodoubt the aussies are a great team, however the game plan of the aussies of putting the opposition under pressure {by verbal abusing also} has back fired here especially against the indians. The indians should be given full credit for this. Over a couple of seasons the indians are playing test cricket outside india superbly as compared to last decade or so. They may not have won a series, however this tour is becoming a great series, and why cant we expect the indian team winning overseas series. Let it start with Australia. All the best and Good luck for the Indian Team for the rest of the series.
