Whoever wrote "Winner is not going to be India" should go hide somewhere. No longer do you see the Indian side on the defensive you go whole hog into predicting the death of this side. You better watch your words and use them judiciously. A match report is supposed to be a report of facts .. whoever asked you for your opinion on 'Day One' about who is going to be the winner?
Predictions doesn't pay off always. But as far as India versus Australia is concerned, even a school boy can predict the result.
Majory of the cricket lovers in India are fanatics and very unsportive. I wanna ask them one question - if India wins this test by chance, will Indian rupee and a US dollar be equall. My message is 'let us not be a fanatic and try to be more sportive in future'.
Kudos to Rediff.Com for bringing out beautiful and thought provoking articles on various subjects and topics. Good show, keep it up !!!
Watching today's first innings was disappointing more for the approach of the pace bowlers, than the fact that the Australians plundered India for 400 runs in 3 sessions of test match. More so the first three sessions of a test match. I mean take a look at Agarkar in his very first over; he looked like a primary school bowler ambling up to toss the bowl.
I mean where is the heart, the passion, the pride for playing for India??? Where is the honour of representing a nation of one billion, being the lucky eleven to play for the nation?? Living out a dream to play cricket for your country?? Seeing Agarkar and Nehra during a few tests, it is easy to identify that when things go well, they bowl well, but when their backs are against the wall, they weaken and there performances drop within seconds. I feel some of the chaps in the Indian team take their positions for granted and it is time that system changes!!
What India needs is, men of character representing its BHARAT!! Men who stand up and give it all they have got and more. Show your pride when you play for your nation, chaps and even if you dont succeed, it is a honour to support you guys!! To see that you giving it all.
i completely disagree with this article which mentions that there can be only one Winning SIDE which is not India.I dont think if the bowlers did not do well, the same can be applicable to autralian seamers as well.I bet India will bat well and hope Sachin makes a good show.Exclusion of Sadagopan ramesh is a worry for the team who has well performed in this tour.jai Hind
