All these numbers are meaningless. Unless statistics can provide insights into something constructive and concrete, it is a meaningless activity.

All activities should be result oriented and this particular piece of information definitely isn't.

As such, we Indians waste alot of time following cricket and the mandays lost are phenomenal.

Mr.Menon,

You have made an error in the fact that Steve Waugh was out 'handled the ball' in the Kolkata Test in 2001. It was infact the first innings of the Chennai Test(3rd test) that he was dismissed in that fashion.
