Australia performs day in and day out because all the 11 players produce results without fail in every match. Over the last several years only Mark Waugh has been sort of below par. This forced him to retire. Other than this I would invite anybody in these columns to list any kind of under performance by an Australian player, playing in a test or one day match. Australia plays as a team with the goal of winning every match it plays. No team in the world is in the same league as Australia. They are invincible and there is no use denying that because the results speak for themeselves.
