India Ready to Counter Aussies at Gabba

Reading through this column, the referring back to the history and not so dependable statistics just on the eve of the first test match feels a bit bad. Ofcourse previous performance and statistics give a real good idea of how the current series results can turn out. But have'nt we read the same stats & history atleast 10 times in different articles over the past 15 days or so? Don't you ever think ahead?
Atleast in this point of time we should be discussing what exactly Indians should be doing in the first session of the test. For me, winning the toss or not we should be well of batting first. That is the biggest risk India should take. We should back our batting. If we manage to hang around for the firt hour or so then we have a real chance of dominating the test match. Ofcourse they are going to leave some grass on the pitch. But winning the toss and bowling will be the biggest pessimism shown by India. Batters should take up the challenge. Also Aussies are without there key bowler McGrath& Brett Lee. We should take the advantage straightaway. We have talked so much about being aggressive, positive and what not. But winning the toss and batting first is the first big move.

India ready to take on Aussies.

Determined India? Who has shown the determination in Indian team in recent past? The writer of this article must be dreaming. India couldnt beat even the Aus-'A' team and that too in India, convincigly. Played like a scrap club team in the worldcup and writer is saying determined india. Just because you get opportunity to write don't beat the bush and write illogical things. Please think and write. We all will be proud if India is determined to play to their full potential. But that is not the case. This bunch is busy in advertisements. You can see their determination. In TVS cup final - 7 droped catches, 'n' number of misfields and irresponsible batting from so called grest batsmen.

COME ON INDIA!!

It is a known fact that Australia is a professional team, but India if played to their potential and apply themselves, can knock of the Kangaroos. I strongly believe that India can and will perform well in Australia.

Living in chennai, fans like us can only pray for them we cannot watch the action live (DUE TO CAS which is fortunately for us only implemented or ENFORCED IN Chennai Only, thanks to the Government ) all our Brothers and Sisters will have opportunity to see the live action in Television.

All the best to Indian team, though critics are against you, all your (millions like me)fans in India are behind you. Come on go on and get the Australians.

I understand that India has performed pathetically against Australia in the recent meetings. It is not fair to write the team off just because of this. I bet the same people will go ga-ga over Indian performance if at all they manage to pull out a victory.
Why can't we just encourage our team rather than criticising them to this extent.
Cheer for India!
