At the beginning of the test match , proteas were 20 for 4 down. Now they have almost got a healthy lead of 2-1 in the series. Thats the glory of test cricket. You cant affort to underperform any two conscute sessions of five days and thats what happen here with English side. Better I would say inexperienced English side. I would like to have your views about where exact this test match turned night-mare for England 1) Gary Kirsten scored 130 developed partnerships with ntini & zondeki. 2) Nasser & Flintoff failed to level proteas first innings score , gave them a lead of 35. 3) Andrew hall played a blistering knock of 99 to let England face something beyond game plan. 4) In Both proteas innings , English bowlers failed to wrap up tailenders.
england should look for a batsman who will stay in the wicket. i feel treskothick & vaugan are both attacking batsman. they should try to take somebody like Gatting or Gower or gavaskar .
why are they not bringing in Thorpe. i think even alec stewart need to be replaced. hussain can be given couple of chances since i feel vaugan & hussain are the tow best batsman in the team with perfect technique.
Every thing is alright about the news of 4th test being played between England and South Africa. This is the most entertaining test in this series, we are very curious about updates of this test, but with the non availibility of TV sets we are totally depend upon Rediff.com for this. And we are satisfied with the news updates but we will be very much happy if we can get DETAILED SCORE CARD, which is used to be given of the matches where Indian team is involved.
