This Should not be accepted at any cost by Indian Govt or the BCCI (Whoever the concerned.) We know how to handle the security over here. If they still fear, they better stay in New Zealand and not come here. Think they fear a white wash on the turning pitches that BCCI will (Should!!!!) prepare here for the series.
Would the Kiwi's have asked for a similar assurance from the US after the Sept 11 attacks if the match was to be played in NY. This is a clear reflection of the racist bias in international cricket. New Zealand and other countries doing this should be fined heavily. Its time India and by India I mean supporters, board and corporates flexed their muscle to show these Kiwis the door. I frankly feel that the kiwi's know that they are in for a hostile reception from the resurgent Indian Team and its supporters for the farce pulled out on Kiwi Land grounds last year. Its time we showed them what real cricket is all about and tell them in clear terms that they are the among the minnows of the cricket world.

I don't remember reading this in any newspaper or hearing about this figure in any electronic media. From where did you get this preposterous figure? Of course, even one person dying is horrible enough. Let us not compound it needlessly by playing with words/figures!
