by neha singh on Jun 11, 2006 12:22 PM

saurav ganguly a person who has lots of enthusisaium and lots of potential.he becomes the captain of india in mar.2000 &when he takes this honour the level of indian cricket is very low.but.his labour, his will-power stands the indian team on top.he guides them & put zeal on all players.he always infront of his players.he is a great batsman, and make a landmark.no body can stand infront of him.he is a graet person and always encourage youngesters like.yuvraj,kaif,h.singh,shehwag,nehra and some other player.saurav is really a bengal tiger who always roaring on his opponents and gives us proud on ourself.he makes 22 centuary and we win 19 of them.he is a good player,a world best captain and a good humanbeing.

No need to go there
by sachin kale on Aug 29, 2003 12:31 PM

There is no need to go Australia and take the advice from the Mr. Chappel.
There are lot's of Batmen who faced the great West indian attack. and as we know this current australian attack is not as formiddable as the west Indian used to. So take the advice from the any one who watched the Ganguly On Tv.
Even a child can tell that Where Ganguly Do the mistakes

when u stop growing, u start dying!
by Puneet on Aug 14, 2003 10:19 PM

One of the mantras to be at the top is to keep growing... when u become relaxed, u start getting down...it may not be soon..but it will surely be there...
it's tougher to stay at the top than to get there... i like ganguly's attitude.. learn always..improve always..that's the way one should be...

good signs
by srinath on Aug 12, 2003 11:55 PM

Yes Dada !! I just hope we show al our performance in the brisbane & adelaide test so that by the time we go to melbourne & sydney tests we are still alive in the series.. if yes we really have a chance to hit the nail on the coffin !!
but if we play face saving knocks in brisbane & adelaide & lose those tests under 3 days like last time we are going to lose 4-0..
key thing is starts & we need 50+ starts atleast so are the opening batsmen heading to sunny gavaskar for tips or are complacent enough after their efforts in the tour of england or world cup..
both these tours are dead & buried & what is gonna come is perhaps a bigger test of all.
really looking forward for tendulkar centuries in brisbane & adelaide & help India avoid defeats here if not win test matches here.

Ganguly with Greg
by Siddhartha Das on Aug 12, 2003 07:16 PM

I think that Ganguly is doing the right thing not only because Greg was a great batsman but also because he is the best person to give advice as far as the Australian conditions are concerned. There are the so called critics of Ganguly who may find fault even at this but who cares!!!!Sourav is the last person to be concerned about those critics.

Ironing out flaws.. encouraging sign
by meena on Aug 12, 2003 05:23 PM

It is heartening to see our captain is ironing out his batting flaws. This shows how serious he is to improve. The most encouraging sign is he is not taking anything for granted. It shows he wants to be leader for others to look up.
