It is a stupid idea coming from a great player like Lloyd. Had he forgotten how long it took India to win its first test at home (20 years) and first test series abroad (40 years)? I do not have stats for West Indies but I am sure they did not do any better. Being an ICC referee, it is a shame that he forgot that UAE was disqualified some time ago because it could not field a team of "natives". Bandladesh is palying like crap but playing foreign cricketers is a ridiculous thought.
It seems to be a good idea to include two overseas players in Bangladesh and Kenya side. Players like Goodwin and Neil Johnson can be considered as ICC nominees for this purpose. It will not only improve standard of these two teams, but will also give chance to some good players to extend their carrer which was shortened due to political reasons.
