A very proffesional decission has been taken by the MrJagmohan Dalmiya & the cricket board to extend the contract of the trio of Wright,Liepus &LeRou.The contribution of the threesome has been immense towards making India a competetive side in the international arena. This extension was well deserved and is the right step forward.Mr Dalmiya must be applauded for putting aside "trash" talk by former players & considering national intrests

How Much Money does a Man Need?

Why should the BCCI fund Sachin's surgery in the US? If the board does wish to fund players injuries, the operations should be in India. If Players want to go abroad, they should fund their expenses themselves. For Sachin, its a small amount for his Huge fortunes!

Contracts

It is long past due that Wright, Leipus, and LeRoux contracts were extended and given raises. I love the idea the BCCI is footing the travel expense of Dr. Joshi to brief the experts in the US of Tendulkars finger injury. Yeah right! How dumb do you think the doctors are over here that they need to know the extent of his finger injury that they need to be briefed? One MRI will tell them all they need to know about the problem or pictures from other imaging devices.

State-of-the-art imaging cannot replace the word of a doctor who knows about the injury before hand. How well do you know about the injury or the doctor's knowledge of it, that you are making such claims. Your blind faith in technology and the US is ludicrous.
