i fail to understand why Parthiv is persisted with . yes he is a good keeper . but his batting is worst than No.11 . All top cricketing countries have keeper allrounders who can bat like Gilchrist , Boucher , Alec stewart, Latif/Moin khan , Sangakarra . India has good keepers who bat well in domestic but not given enough chances . like Pankaj Dharmani, whose Ranji record is as good as Dravid .
But ploitics has ruined India . and continue to ruin indian cricket. I dont know who is behind Parthiv. may be some big personality. Parthiv ranji record is pathetic too. not even single century he has . how come he got in indian team ?? the greatest mystery of 21st century..
That is why Kumble is being kept in the museum. isn't it? Kumble was a good bowler - but he has past his prime. Now Harbhajan is a better bowler than him

To suggest that India should consider changing back to 6 batsmen a keeper and 4 bowlers is laughable at this stage. The last year and half when the policy has been pursued has been India's most successful spell in one day cricket for 15 years. And you want to change that!!!!
I really think this kind of stagnant thinking is what ails Indian cricket; here you have the team management boldly trying the move which is best for the team, and it actually comes off and you 'armchair experts' are trying to change something just for the sake of it. I mean if it ain't broken, stop tryin to fix it, Faisal!
Can't you people understand once and for all that a seventh batsman would win you many more games in the long run (it gives you the option of chasing a large total even with 3 or 4 wickets down early) than a 'so called' special wicketkeeper who I agree should certainly be used in Tests, but certianly is a luxury a team without a world class all-rounder cannot afford. You are in a responsible position dictating public opinion. Please use your position judicously.
I fail to understand why is everyone so quick to criticise Sehwag!!I personally feel he is the most gutsy player in the Indian team whose temprament unflappable. He has a kind of toughness, arrogance and stubborness which we lacked since ages.During the Australian tour its gonna be ruthless attitude of Sehwag which will give the needed support to Tendulkars and Gangulis.!!!!
patel as a bat has long way to go. i still feel he should be a second keeper and improve his batting by yards to retain a spot in the team. it is time to look beyond patel and give poor ratra a fair trail he was dropped for no fault of his
