against zimbabwe and kenya we struggled yet against pakistan who have one of the better bowling attacks in world cricket we chased a total of 276 in about 45.4 overs... soo think about what ur saying mr keshav.. world cup final was a bad day.. zaheer and srinath bhai were nervous as you would be playing for the prestigous world cup and australia were the better team on the day... and if u call losing 4 wickets in chasing 226 struggling then i don't think you should be following cricket... i think lawn bowls is the sport for you...

Srivatsav hope you know what for Captain is there in Cricket. And also pleas try to understand what is dew factor in Cricket. Do you think morning moisture condition stays for whole 50 overs in ODI. Look at WC carefully and analyse what Pakistan done wrong decision against AUS and also what SL done against INDIA after winning toss... Same wrong decision is done by foolish Indian Captain too
God saved INDIA from one more defeat. If Ganguly had taken same decision of batting first in World Cup we would have won the world Cup. Bad luck for INDIA because of Captain's foolish decision

srivatsa and co... I would not have mind if we loose the final had we batted first. Against Pakistan it is different issue. I am damn sure Ganguly may not have considered teams opinion. Because he is too arrogant. Can you all guys(who says Ganguly best Captain :))) says me why he is supporting waste character like Dinesh Mongia in present team????

Dear Mr.Keshav, if u r telling that its a captain's foolish decision that made India to lose the final, u should also agree that he had taken perfect decisions for the previous 7 or 8 matches. However a captain's decision on the toss, was certainly not the reason for loosing a match..not altest on the final of world cup..it was not just India's day..and remember Austraila is a very good team. India has been playing brillant cricket and they have surely worked hard to reach the finals in world cup. anyway let us wish them a very good luck for the future.

Keshav, if you had little knowledge about cricket also you would have not made that statement.Ganguly is the best captain India has ever had. It is well proven with statistics. Now he does not need to prove again and again. For people like you, even if India had won the world cup, you would try to find a loophole in Ganguly. Be happy with whatever the success he has got instead of making such foolish statements. Just compare with previous Indian captains and see where Ganguly's capataincy stands provided if you know how to compare I mean simple mathematics.

I do accept it was the rain GODS who saved the day for the Indian team yesterday. But I totally oppose the idea that it was due to the captain's decision that we lost the WC. If that is the case, then we should generalize to an extent that the captain's decision after winning the toss contributes to a great extent in deciding the fate of the match. It was just that March 23rd was not our day. That is it. Nothing more than that.
Lets hope that our team performs still better in the forthcoming tours and hence become a strong side to upset the applecart of the mighty Aussies in the next world cup atleast.

Another foolish indian fan trying to pin blames on everything possible and not gracefully accept that we lost to a side which is far far far better than our own team...we came this far and hence proved we are a better team than most pretenders like NZ, PAk, Eng out there.....Just forget this bandwagon thing of blaming Ganguly for all of indian cricketing woes.....Someone had written that god saved team from defeat at Dhaka.....jus think for a minute that we have Ganguly and Yuvraj batting there...their inexperienced bowling attack....Dinesh Mongia to come.....PAtel and Harbajan can get some runs and we would have reached 220 + .....no sarandeep and that means the new spinner(Amit Mishra) would have bowled with a heart that sarandeep lacked the previous match and of course return of Agarkar and Zaheer would boost our bowling.....They struggled to chase down 216 wen there was sarandeep and no Zaheer and Agarkar.....This is one of way of looking at things not that all of the above would have hapenned...but to say things like god saved us is utter rubbbbbbbish and non sense and shows complete immaturity on the part of the writer.....

It has become a fashion to criticize saurav for the defeat in WC final.The decision of the toss is taken by team management and not by captain alone though he always share the blame for any failure.And moreover what does our so called superstar "sachin" do in all crucial matches???? he invariably fails.Lets accept this Team is byfar the best in all respects keeping in mind of 1983 team.

Sharath Look at World Cup final history You must have saw Indian team struggling while chasing against NZ, ZIM and even against KEN in World Cup. Final was not the bad day for INDIA. It was bad decision of foolish Captain.
