icc needs to adapt more strict measures while awarding test status to any country. Bangladesh is a classical examaple of hurried dicision by icc in giving Bangladesh the coveted status of test playing country.Untill and unless the country has adeqauate infrastructure for developing the game of cricket and untill the country shows consistency in their game,the test status should not be awarded.
Well, what can i say about Bdesh. They are mentaly down.They are in cricket nearly 20 years but they didn't improve anything including senior players and young players.
Since bangladesh started playing they have just defeated asingle test playing nation that is pakistan in a world cup match. They should'nt be given the test status as there is kenya which is a much better side & they are devoid of it.So banladesh should be thrown out of the test playing nations.
This Bangladeshi team cannot even match with our Ranji teams like Orissa, Tripura, etc. I think, Mr Dalmiya can offer them to participate in next season's Ranji matches.
I think it was a big mistake to grant Test status to Bangladesh. The minnows, i.e., Kenya, Bangladesh, Namibia, Canada, Holland must play more cricket between themselves. They should also have unofficial test series between themselves. Cricket is a game where confidence and self-belief matter a lot. 32 losses in a row is very demoralising. It is not too late for the ICC to withdraw Test status.
When is this bangladeshi team going to improve?Even Kenya and Holland are far far better than them.Till their standards are atleast worldclass, I feel the ICC should revoke their status.
Well its very evident that bdesh is not a side worthy of the one day status..i think ICC should reconsider bdesh status and give them some time to truly become a one day side.Otherwise its just bad publicity for cricket.
