I fail to understand the logic behind giving Man of the Match awards to people from the loosing team. Australia lost out many MOMs in World Cup and this resulted in Sachin walking away with the Man of the tournament award without any serious competition, though I thought Brett Lee deserved that more.
Almost all you rediff reporters quite frequently give this kind of lame reports..Mr.Malhotra, You havent even mentioned the target set by the south africans... Mebbe i cud get it in Scorecard, still then shouldn't it be a part of the report? Grow up guys...
I don't understand why Ashraful got the MOM award. I don't see his innings to be an exceptional one nor a matchwinning one. It should have gone to either Gibbs (62) or Pollock ( 4 - 30 odd). The organisers seem biased and knowing that there's no winning prize money, SA may go back with their pockets empty after coming all the way.
