do you see that he has nothing to say about Wright? i wonder if thats got something to with his future aspirations to be the India seniors coach - i mean all these guys (sandeep patil, vengsarkar, kapil etc) want to give back something to the game!!!! i know how they can do it - by shutting up and not interfering with indian cricket anymore.
If sourav is given the credit for giving the opportunity to yougsters, I feel Wright shouldd be given equal credit for strengthening thir skiis and giving the think positive attitude feel inside them. Even Ashok Malhotra has become one of the indian cricketers who do want to give any reward to MR. John Wright. This shows the truth in the recent article released in rediff, where kapil and dilip vengsarkar did not want top praise MR. John Wrights efforts
Ganguly is and will always remain the greatest captain India has ever had. Inspite of a very critical media Ganguly has emerged as the most successful captain. Good work Ganguly and Malhotra!
Lets hope the foolish people in the media and Ganguly detractors(Prem Panicker, Bishan Singh Bedi etc) understand Ganguly's greatness. Prem Panicker should change his name to 'Ganguly's enemy No 1', hehehe.
ashok malhotra is absolutley right by giving the credit to sourav........because he is the man who is responsible for the teams success so far....he has backed all the youngsters......he has seen to that every player gets a chance to make mark before he leaves,,,,,,,,,,my salutations to sourav.
Malhotra is right in his statment.I think Ganguly is the first captain after Kapil Dev who does not believe in parochialism but cosmopolitanism. One who performs well will get the India cap--as simple as that. One more thing that I like very much about Saurav is that the way he stands beside the youngsters becuase and never allows any youngsters feel as a new chick in a group of stalwarts.I wish he and John wright would have got a long tenure in their respective departments coz they are two main persons instumental in India's mind boggling performance in the recently concluded world cup.
