Sir, I congratulate you on your well deserved extension. I feel really really sorry that the BCCI has treated you so badly. I hope that you bring more victories to the Indian team. You, Sir, are THE MAN for the hour. I once again congratulate you on your appointment and hope you guide our nations hopes to its zeniths.
The credit behind the teams great success in the World Cup and in the recent series certainly goes to the entire team but under your guindance they have performed much much better. I hope that you should stay with the team till next World Cup.
Wright is primarily responsible for making a highly self centered and egoistic bunch of talented individuals into a well oiled team hungry for wins. But looks like he has been given a raw deal from bureuacracy aka mr. Dalmiya, who has voiced his opposition to him before, first hesistantly extends it by two months and then by a year, the reason being from December, India will be having a tough tour of Australia and aim is to make him a scape goat. I do not understand many former players opposing coaches just because they are from foreign place; Mr. Wright is a thorough hard working professional who has results to speak and hope he ultimately gets what he wants, a long term contract with the indian team.
Apart from congratulating Wright,I would like to thank BCCI for the wise decision they have taken.These three men,Le Roux, Lepus and Wright are main reason for India's consistent performance over the last year(forget the NZ tour)...and BCCI has correctly renewed them.Thank god they are nt thinking abt any Indian coaches.All the best Mr Wright and company,we are sure your efforts will bring more glory to Indian cricket in Future.
