u r right. dragons are vomiting rain of fire and proving thier dominance. and our peacock is hiding somewhere under roof waiting for that rain to pass.
Mary was 5 times world champion in 47 kg category.She moved to 51 kg category only after women boxing was included in olympics,i.e.,about 1 1/2 years before.She had to change her category as 47 kg category was not included in olympics.There are several tough opponent in this group.
I feel the QF match will not be very tough for Mary and it seems a bronze is assured.
However,main challenge will be in Semi-final. Mary in all probability will face world Champion Nicola_Adams in the SF.Nicola_had defeated Mary in the world championship 2 months before.
If Mary can take Nicola_and move ahead,she is probably face Ren_Cancan,the Asian games 2010 gold medalist.
Therefore,it is not a path of roses_for Mary towards the gold quest.Let us hope she does well and move ahead as much as she can on the given day...
A mother of two,coming back from retirement and qualifying for olympics and performing is not a joke,that too from a very remote place of the country.I salute her and wish her all the best.
