It is no surprise that she lost in the very first round. She normally blames an injury. This time she can blame her husband not being there to cheer her!! Right from the beginning too much hype has been made about her. She has a poor serve, a single winner --stroke of a powerful forehand--and no court craft at all, unable to cover the court. I have always felt she has been overrated and well promoted by a good PR company!!

Rather, she can blame him for not giving her enough time to practice. Her life right now may be 24x7, any place any time.....

it is not for you or selectors to decide who will play or not.. it is not cricket or football.. she is playing bcoz she is good enough to qualify.. and she does not need your license for her to be called an Indian..
Rediff... a small correction.. please make it "PAKISTANI tennis aces" and also please stop showing such useless articles.. why don't you put of some in depth analysis on Saina Nehwal's recent victory??

Agree with Devanjan. There was hardly any mention of Saina's winning the Singapore Open Super Series...

its bcoz tennis and sania are far more popular than badminton and saina. A first round loss attracts 120 comments for her. Even most of the comments in saina's victory column were directed towards sania. This shows ppl are only interested in abusing sania and no1 really cares abt saina's achievements.
