I hope the German owner wont make a meal of the Octopus, it was said that they will cook and eat it if Spain won. Hope the owners are sporting enough to accept its predictions and get on with life.

This is one of the worst reasoning I've ever heard. To hide our weakness you are giving example of China. Is this the way you move forward in your life? So your examples are based on the people who are not as good as you.. Go get a new leash of life... Why not to look forward atleast and try to be positive, why to to look upto say a team like Ghana... a country with bare minimum economy and lesser people than any metro in India... We are the only country in this world who have closed eyes for all the other sports except Cricket.. where as look at other countries, they are good at athletics too.. There needs a change in the way we look towards other sports...

Jyotish shastra is universal. Germany's defeat was predicted by Octopus. So they have been defeated.

They have "twin" octopuses. The one who turns out to be right is shown to the public.

For once I clearly read in rediff news yday that spain has been picked. I am not sure if any other news site provided the opposite view. So as far as I am concerned the octupus made an unambigous pick much before the match.
