You are right...Sania is only good either to be a model or a heroine...She needs another player so that she can cruise along...If she is a real player of substance, then let her prove her mettle in singles, which she wont...

What do you mean? It is not going anywhere in the main significant event, being the singles. The top men's players don't even bother playing in doubles. Not like in the good olden days when doubles was considered an important event and was played till 5 sets. Today even the 3rd set is shortened. In those days all top players played in doubles regularly. It is because of this shift in attitude Paes,Bhupathi and other mediocre players like them have managed to cash in on the absence of top quality players in doubles. They are not even paid well in doubles. It is like winning a consolation prize. Today winning the final or reaching the last 8 in singles is considerd the jackpot.

dude first know the game then comment ....i guess its better u keep your comments reserved for cricket , doubles prize money is pretty good & not a consolation in any ways & top doubles teams will kick a team of top single's team as they say each one to his own.....BTW did you qualify as a 12'th man in your streets gully crickets team??? try doin that first b4 giving your unwanted gyann.

Now sania will wear dark glasses, chewing bubble gum and wearing tight clothing which will show off her assets will start giving interviews saying "I already know that we will win" and will continue to brag...Our bacchi(Sania) doesn't understand that its only singles that really matter...The rest of the titles are all good for records...When you keep running out of your age, that is when one should play doubles and mixed doubles...But will our bacchi understand ?....

Good point, Virtual Insider. Indian players seem to get satisfied over smaller prizes. Saina Nehwal in badminton is an exception.

somebody choose right name for you Virtual insider. You are still inside a shell. Why dont you go inside from where you have propped.
Any chievement at international level whether double or single is unique. How about sports like cricket/football and hockey where 11 players together make a game possible . Why so much fuss over doubles event. double event is equally interesting and deserve equal praise.

Don't compare Tennis with Cricket...Sania is not an ageing player that she should compete in mixed doubles event and win...She is just minting money just for the heck of it...Maybe she plans to give up Tennis and become a model or a Cine actor...Just wait and watch..She is playing for the heck of money...
