Your comments are perfect. A mountain is made out of a mole hil. We are hearing the song that she will be number one from the last 7 years. Nothing happened. She is just making money out of advertisement. To keep her name in news she creates controversies.

The earlier she retires the better the country and the game.

Only you are hearing the song, bugger. No one else said or expects her to be no 1. We just expect her to play her best.

She is atleast worth a few million dollars, and is being an inspiration to millions of young girls in India. What are you worth, bugger, other than eating and shiting routinely?

She doesn't have to retire early, but if you die early, the earth will bear one useless person less.

You are a sick man you know? why you are not getting any advertisements yourself man? you don't even know how to repect sports persons in India. Thats why, we don't do well. We only know Cricket and only know how to appriciate loose balls like Dhoni and his clan. May be you should play Tennis and become number one if not in the world, in you own galli. Shut up and learn to give their due to the sports persons. There are thousands and thousands of Murali krishnas in India, but only one Sania Mirza, how is it!

In sports, India's performance in international arena has been at the bottom ... yes depite our huge population.

Yet, Indians have the highest expectations from their sports persons.

Moron, you are getting so emotional and taking potshots on other people just because they criticized Sania, don't you think people get emotional when they feel that she had disgraced the national flag? Some of them might have had their fore fathers who gave their lives for it..
Its very easy to be hot head.. but it takes a lot of self-control to become great...And she won't loose any of her energy to play game by apolgizing and moving on..

oye namelss .... don't be emotional ... she didn't do anythign wrong ... she didn't disgrace the flag ... it's all in your head ... people like you just go looking for an opportunity to vent their frustration over failures, over their lifetime of career failures and the big loser that they are ... so anyone else's success brews jealousy in them and then that jealousy turns into venom of hate ... such lowlife people are dangerous to our society and impediment to the progress of our nation.

Sania is an average player on the world stage, though the best grown in India.

Her statements/decision is just a reflection of the 'ghamand' that she has and ghamandi ka sar hamesha neecha hota hai

Guys why we are in the race of proving ourselves idiot. Why can't we be sensible, logical and reasonable while putting our points. Why everytime we need to behave like we are religious fanatics, abusive, intolerent and stupid.

And then we think we are true indian what ever caste, class, religion may be and feel proud about the behaviour we show in the discussion board.

Agreed that we have ffreedom of expression and speech. but.............

Its not a question of proving idiot. What I am sure that there are some pakis, who write regularly for every small news on rediff.
They generally try to flame sentiments either by bringing in religion, even though its not connected. In addition, some anti india stuff comes in.. After sometime, Modi and BJP(even though they are not linked to that news) are thrown in. Once sentiments are raised, the commments just reduce to sheer abuses. Its high time that we indians, stop falling prey to just cheap tactics.

I totally agree with Rajeev. There are some sick minds who(frequent this site) wait only to rave otheres point of view, what evet it may be. They would like to bring in either religion, desh bhakti or some other narrow parochial issue. Why can't people see some thing sensible and reasonable, I don't know.

I agree wholeheartedly with you.

Sania should emigrate to US and become a US citizen and reap the rewards of her talents there.

That might give the lily-livered Hindus in India to sort out the Islamic menace in their homeland!

Don't make comments without knowing the facts. It is not HINDUS who are making an issue of her dressing etc. It is MUSLIM FUNDAMENTALIST FANATICS, who are making the issue. Sania Mirza is also a MUSLIM and the Muslim community is worried about her dressing. HINDUS are least bothered how she dresses etc. HINDUS don't care.

You need to know the background of Sania then you can make appropriate comments

Good move by sania,in our contry people are busy pulling each other down,

No matter how many grand slams u win or how much name u bring to the country what really matters to people are what kind of clothes u are wearing and whether u r respecting their flag....

Now u know why so many successful people in every field immigrate to the west.

India is for dogs, leave them alone they will eat each other.

I would say its a Very bad move...If you need to be a winner you need to get over such silly controversies...what should really matter is playing good tennis and winning tournaments when you can. By not playing you are not managing the situation....you are running away...then why need a manager...sack him.
