Saniaji, Please play in Bangalore. Other than Venus, there are no players of repute. If you do not play here, you will loose a 50:50 chance of winning the tournament. Anyways you wont win any tournament anywhere else in the world in your entire career... Atleast try beating world number 500 and try winning this tournament
theproblem arises because of intolerant and stupid mullahs/maulvis or whatever they call themselves--simmering conflict seems to be their idea of religious fervour.

May be if u concentrate more on the play and less on how u look playing, there would be less contrversies.. next time dont blame indians for putting u into some dumb trouble of shooting at a mosque, its ur stupidity

Maybe Raja Rao you look at the other woman tennis players what they dress during their game, than looking at Sania's dress. You can look at Sania's play than watching her. The problem is with the eyes and minds of you bloody people, not with Sania.

A stupid remark Sania may or not be a champion but she has a right not to be harassed by every tom dick & harry haridas
It is easy to understand her feelings. We can ignore the fundamentalists who are never sane, whatever may be the issue on hand. But when even sensible people start saying that she disrespected the flag... Any person who has used a decent camera can vouch that with good lenses, it is possible to have near and far-off objects completely in focus. In reality, the flag must have been nowhere near the feet. But the controversy that was created was really shameful. Sania is fully justified in staying away from the tournament. She should leave the country and retain her nationality so that she can have some peace of mind and can concentrate on her tennis.

right decision by sania, guys and fundamentalists leave her alone. reading some silly and stupid comments from immature persons in this forum, justifies her stand not to play in india. in fact she should borrow v. anand's decision and stay abroad only to play and practise overseas. she is young, ranked 29, she needs all her energy, concentration to practise and hone her skills, not fight some rabid fundamentalists bent on creating one controversy after another.
