This is not a mistake. In some of the games (like badminton) you get the bronze even if you loose the semifinal. So two players get two bronze medals

no.... she just needs to win the quarter final and qualify for the last four.... win or loose in the semi final will give a medal i believe.

You are right. She needs to win the quarter final and either win or loose the semi-final (but win the 3rd place play off) to get a medal. Rediff is either too confused or too excited

well i dont see sania mirza going too far anymore....esp her 1st round exit at the olympics and her ranking slipping well below the 50th position on the latest ATP charts

You must be the only person in the whole world to compare an olympian with a cricketer. Your ignorance is unlimited. A cricketer can earn crores of Rupees and is it equal to one OLYMPIC gold medal???
