i think they should not team up for grand slam. In my opinion Sania is a good player but not that much good.. Where as if Bhupati team up with any great player like Hingis then there is maximum probability that they will win the grand slam.. But with Sania it has a less chance. So i think they should not pair up for such big event. they can give it a try in some Tour event... then if it really works good then only they can try that in grand slam like big events. Thanks....
I love both tennis and cricket but I think we Indians need to start supporting other sports too. I mean the tennis and cricket players get so much money and attension but what about our other players..hockey(national game remember?) and golf, soccer,handball....athletics...etc. why dont they telecast even normal state games in India and promote these games? I mean in US people telecast even high school match..our Indians play well, they are hardworking then why this. Infact we can start with even school matches. why I used to regularly attend my school cricket final match every year years and years back!!Neither sania or our cricketers do their job properly why do they get so much attention!

There is a lot difference between tennis and cricket, while in cricket player from only one country play, the case is just opposite with tennis where players play just for money and not for country...they pair with players of other country and most of the times clash with the same country players...this dont happen in cricket...there is no law in tennis which forbids the player to not pair with players of other nation and this simply makes it clear that its a game for money and not the patriotism which we have in cricket...

What kind of crazy logic is this? Just because Tennis is an individual professional sport, tennis players are not patriotic? And what about cricket? Cricketers play for their Respective Cricket Boards, not the India flag. Stop making RIDICULOUS COMMENTS.

i dont care what u think, if any sports man or woman think they are bigger than the country and make a statments like he don't want to represent india, that is what we are talking, doesn't matter it is cricket, tennis or carroms. Bhupathi should not called as a indian tennis player again.
Belive Leander would be better option for Sania to team up with... Also it helps them to represent the country in the events like Olympics & Asian games. I doubt wheather Mahesh has it in him...

I too agree with u. As the kind of body language they show while playing together is really great.

DEAR SANIA IS SCARED OF LEANDER'S CELEBRATION STYLE WITH MAHESH "REMEMBER"
Bhupathi dont want to represent india, and why still all these indian newspapers calling him as a leading indian tennins players, he has to learn from Leander, how to be an indian, This is the second time bhupathi make a nusence and and black mailed the indian tennis association on a woman, at last he got what he want, to be teamed with sania, he was never a good player than Leander and even in future, any body want to represent their country doesn't matter what he get, he want a fame and he know that he can get it by teaming with Sania. This pairing may help BHupathi but not Sania. Hello i strongly believe he should not called as an indian tennis player. Hey Bhupathi GROW UP.

Dude, He refused to play for India because some body was doubting that he was giving it his all after the first doubles game. Assuming he was giving it his all, I think it was sad for Paes to go to the media instead of sorting it out between themselves. After being insulted like that, I can't think of how he can come back and play with Paes for India.

I belive you had not seen the match...Bhupathi purposely played below PAR dint hold one serve neted every volley like kids...it was so embaracing leander was getting furious all the time as 99% of points lost in match was from bhupathis racket..it was aweful he did it becoz he was not teamed with sania...what a loser he should be defamed and that match should be shown again for people to know what bhupathi did that day...
Both our doubles aces (albeit not together) are in the evening of their glorious careers. They have just of couple of years more to bring real glory to all Indians. While it is good hat Hesh and Sania have paired up, and that they would form a formidable national representation, I feel that Hesh (and Leander too) should pair up with better experienced (and higher ranked) men/women players so that their chances of addind to their tally of Grand Slams are better - since they have only a few more years of competitive tennis left ! I only hope we are able to see more of Leander/Mahesh pairing up to torment opponents in tournaments like the Davis Cup at least.....
Bhupati and Sania will make an impact in the Tennis Circuit ,But Paes and Sania is the better combination ,If we want our mixed doubles pair want to win grand slam titles. Cheers, V.C.Nitin.
