i dont blame zidane for losing the cup everyone has a line that cant be crossed IF the reports are true and the italian player did say one of the many thing reported then can anyone say we wouldnt have hit him too?
I will not blame Zidane. I have seen him playing for quite some time now, and have not seen one incident like this from him. He is a genuine person, but something seriously provoked him on Sunday. Regards

I think you guys should give this a second thought.Why do you wanna blame Zidane. What if someone held you back, and pinched your nipples? And then he calls you 'son of a terrorist whore'? And what if you were a Muslim in addition to all of this? What would you do? Just walk away? If you're a real man you'll at least draw blood from his nose!!! Italy doesnt deserve to win! With Zidane and Henry around, their chances are only 2%

I believe sending off Zidane made the difference. There would have been a very harsh comment on Zidane, which made him do the head butt. Otherwise no sportsperson would do such a foolish act in that scenario of extratime being played.
Why should anyone blame zidane?! Anyone who insulted my blood would get a dozen slaps in return. Materrazi behaved like a 3 year old by saying something like that to zidane who reciprocated like a 3 year old. Italy may have won the cup but that is matierialistic. Zidane won hearts of people and the French have welcomed him with open arms. Zidane may have had a tragic ending but to me and many others he will fovever be one of the greatest footballers ever.
